Butter panner or something

For panner
- A pack of paneer
- 2 tbsp butter, ghee or oil
- ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Corriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ Tsp Garam masala
Tomato Sauce
- 4 tbsp neutral oil, ghee or butter
- 2 medium tomatoes
- half a large onion
- 1 ½ tsp ginger paste
- 1 ½ tsp garlic paste
- 4 Tbsp Yogurt (plain)
Whole Spices
- 2 bay leaves
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 2 pieces of cardomon
- 3-4 cloves
- ½ tsp Whole cumin
Powder Spices
- 1/4 tsp Tumeric
- 2 Tsp Red chili pepper
- 1 tsp corriander
- Salt to taste (at least 1 tsp! this is important!)
Finishing spices
- 1 tsp kasuri methi, crushed
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 2 stalks of fresh cilantro, chopped
Steps
Prep the panneer!
- cut into small pieces, about 1 cm across
- Mix Paneer spices together
- Toss the paneer in the spices and make sure its well coated
- Heat the Oil/Butter on medium heat
- Add panner from last step and fry for a few minutes until crisp
- Remove from heat, and set aside for now
Make the sauce!
- Heat 4 tbsp of the oil on medium heat in a separate pan
- Add the onion and tomato
- Turn it off when the tomato is soft
- Let it cool, and blend until smooth
Sauce part 2
- Add 2 Tbsp of oil in the pan you just used
- Add all the spices, and fry for a bit until fragrant
- Add the sauce that you just blended
- Add the Ginger and garlic paste
- Add the powdered spices and mix
- Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes
- Add the yogurt, Mix, and cook covered for 2-3 minutes
- Add a cup of water and then more unitl it reaches the desired consitency
- Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes
- Add the panner that you set aside
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes
- Add the finishing spices
- Serve with rice or naan
