Steps

Prep the panneer!

  1. cut into small pieces, about 1 cm across
  2. Mix Paneer spices together
  3. Toss the paneer in the spices and make sure its well coated
  4. Heat the Oil/Butter on medium heat
  5. Add panner from last step and fry for a few minutes until crisp
  6. Remove from heat, and set aside for now

Make the sauce!

  1. Heat 4 tbsp of the oil on medium heat in a separate pan
  2. Add the onion and tomato
  3. Turn it off when the tomato is soft
  4. Let it cool, and blend until smooth

Sauce part 2

  1. Add 2 Tbsp of oil in the pan you just used
  2. Add all the spices, and fry for a bit until fragrant
  3. Add the sauce that you just blended
  4. Add the Ginger and garlic paste
  5. Add the powdered spices and mix
  6. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes
  7. Add the yogurt, Mix, and cook covered for 2-3 minutes
  8. Add a cup of water and then more unitl it reaches the desired consitency
  9. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes
  10. Add the panner that you set aside
  11. Cover and cook for 2 minutes
  12. Add the finishing spices
  13. Serve with rice or naan
